View Full Version : Fan Motor on A/C keep burning up.

The fan motor on my wife 97 OB keeps burning up. We've been through 3 since May. The last 2 just quit. No warning at all. Any ideas? I'm taking to the stealership on Saturday, so if anybody has any idea of things I should tell them to look for. thanks

When you say burning up as in how? the motor seizes up? no longer turns?

are there aftermarket or OEM fans? ive seen problems with aftermarket fans over and over burning up after month or two.

They just quite working, I'm guessing they are seizing not really sure.

They are aftermarket, NAPA I believe. Maybe that's the problem. Hope so.
