Painted Brake Calipers?

Hey guys my brakes are about a year old though they look like hell, I want to paint them though I'm not sure of what color I should do. Since they're not Brembos I don't want to be flashy or anything, just look good and subtle. I was thinking of doing a blue color. My rides silver i have some pics up in a few forums. Though I want to hear some thought before I go doing something you guys seem to know best. :grin:

Depends on the rim. Blue looks good sometimes.

Personally I like the blue w/ black but if I it were my choice i'd go with black.

great thread since I had a member here tell me my calipers looked like crap when I did the rotors lol.. I told him I was at the auto store looking at the caliper paints but decided to hold off since I was not sure how what color would look.

Black with a silver wheel looks nice

Silver on silver is a little bland for me

I have silver calipers and run my black/green winter wheels, and gunmetal wheels in the summer. Nice contrast on (mostly) white car.

I have to redo the paint though, it's starting to flake off. 18months it's lasted.

I used a textured black paint. Doesn't really stand out at all but gives it a clean look.
