Interchangeable brakes?

Hello, I am in need of a brake job on my 1997 Legacy GT. What I am wondering is can I use brakes from other Subaru cars? If so which cars rotors and pads will fit my car? For example since WRX wheels fit my car could I use up to '04 model pads and rotors? Or would Impreza RS pads and rotors fit my car? Also does anyone know where I could get a good deal or pads and rotors?
