Hey every one,
I've heard of this board from many other people, I figured I should check it out and join.
My daily grind is a my91 legacy sport sedan, the car itself has 245xxx miles on the chasie
as the original ej22t kicked its last breath a few months ago. The car is now running
on an imported japan spec ej20g, I'm running a usdm td04 turbo, HKS pod filter, HKS intake pipe,
black awic intercooler, HKS down pipe, 5ziegen fieball catback exhaust, hallman boost controler,
ngk iradium spark plugs. Rebuilt 5spd trans with the orignal 3.9lsd rear diff.

I bought the car for 300.00 dollars andd been driving it for three years

:smt023 I like. Overall, what do you like or dislike about the EJ20G swap?

Thanks guys, The ej20 swap so far is really good the pros to the swap was getting more power and more mpg 70 so far. the dislikes from going to it is the torque isn't there like the ej22t had, once it gets up in the rpms it just takes off . I need to get some base line pulls to find out how much power I gained, before the EM goes in.

Its totaly a sleeper for sure nothing like pulling up to a wrx or sti and shocking the hell out of the drivers.

Very cool! Glad to see you went with an EJ20G, those are great motors. What sort of EM are you going with? If you miss the torque that much you could always put a USDM EJ25 shortblock in using the EJ20G heads. I think this would work anyway.

The em that I'm looking at is the altronic ems, but it's going to cost about 2.5-3 k, another is the link g4 extreme which is a bit cheaper, what I have sitting on a shelf is a pp6.
I was thinking about rebuilding my ej22t with acl bearings, arp stud kits, wiesco forged pistons an mahle rods, then top it off with the g heads, find or get the heads built and get some delta custom grind cams, which I still have to research the valves and springs,
After that top the whole deal with a gt35r rotated turbo for good measure. But that is in due time as I have two other project cars that need more attention, I'll need to get the new dd up an running.
