driver side window dragging

When I lower the window the outer rubber seal drags enough on the window so that it folds down and slows the window down along with it.. Anything I can do to fix this? I know the window has adjustments but I rather not go that way until I have to take the panel off to do the door speakers.

You said it. The adjusters can only be accessed by removing the door panels. So far, it sounds like that is your problem.

It will streak the outside glass bad.. it's hard to say over the internet but picture lowing the window and the outside rubber seal folds down with the glass when it's not meant to do that, that's how I get my dragging.

I will adjust it when I put in new speakers sometime after I get my windows tinted when I get back from N.C.

I forgot to say this yesterday.. So down here it's been in the high 90's and I was driving around in town and put down the driver's window and for the first time ever I noticed it did not drag at all by the rubber outer seal folding over and dragging on the window.

I thought that was pretty odd..

It's rubber - it's heating up and becoming more flexible. Your rubber seal needs to be replaced.

but yet it's just as hot in CT and it wont do the same?

humidity levels then. Either way, the rubber is getting old and too much expansion/contraction is going to cause issues.

could be... it was humid in the north east for a good two weeks but here its dry like crazy
