hello one and all like the subject says i might be a legacy owner and i have some questions about them i was originally a Honda enthusiast but now im growing up and i want something more roomy and was wondering how a 1999 leg gt 30th anniversary is it has the ej25d i believe and ive been reading there known for head gasket problems

yes the dohc ej25s blow them every 100k, but the sohc i believe arent as bad. how many miles does the one have that your looking at? also check if it has the time chain and water pump changed.

Also, take a look at the overflow tank to see if it's discolored. That usually shows that they've been done -or- are going.
Drive it for about an hour. With a bad headgasket in these cars, they sometimes don't start overheating right away.

lol yea its a whole diff world from a honda lol its driven fine so far i havent really gotten on it or anything
