So on the rear end of my bd it has the "AWD" sign, looking to debadge but i have to prepare.

Are there holes behind the "AWD" sign?

No holes behind the AWD or the GT2.5. But there are holes behind the legacy one.

+1 I had to fill these holes too. But, the car looks nice once all that crap is gone. I'm also going to see if there is a way to remove the "SUBARU" lettering from the center tail light piece.

^^ and if you want to try that I have a center section FS that you can buy to avoid messing up a perfectly good center garnish.

I don't think spraying red tint over the lettering would really do it for me. Probably look fairly tacky. I do have a spare center piece which is what I'm going to test with first. I certainly wouldn't do it to the piece currently in place. However, if I could find the JDM "Legacy" center, I would leave those letters on.

^^ Haha. If it were only that easy. Unfortunately, as close at it looks, this will not fit our USDM cars. The '98s are slightly more angled and not quite as wide as ours. In fact, I'm still not 100% sure they even make any "LEGACY" center pieces for our USDM '99s. Thanks for the try though! I search RMPGarage all the time for stuff. Pretty good place to buy stuff from. :)

i've had the idea to use the spray tail-light tint on the center piece
and leave the reast JDM'n

i might look kinda civic'ish if i do that

Are you talking about completely blacking out the center piece of just simply tinting it enough to somewhat hide the lettering?

blacking it out but leaving the peices on the sides where the reverse lights are.

put on a good coat so it doesn't show Subaru at all and round the sides to make it look
like its supposed to be doing that.

my car is black so i think if i do it right... :smt020
