Transmission Help!!

He i'm doing clutch and flywheel on my car and dont know anywhere else to post. I hope i'm in the right section. Well I'm trying to pull the transmission out of my 2002 legacy Gt 5 speed. I have everything loose and the transmission wont break free from the engine. Any tricks or help is appreciated.

yes wrong spot but its ok. next time the natural asp drivetrain section. double and triple check that you have all the bolts out. than push up on the front of the motor and shake the tranny. if that doesnt work alittle pry bar action might be needed.

yeah, at least on the autos ive done, we had to use a jack or something and a 2X4 and push up on the front of the motor a bit, to get the trans to clear the bulkhead.

ok guys i got it. it was siezed to the dowl pins. they are rusted to shit so i'm just gonna sand them down before i put it back on. i had to use a screw driver and a hammer to get them apart. :smt011 but it worked so no complaints. dont really want to ever try that way again
