My car has a measly 113,000 miles on it, but I have seen some crazy high mileage numbers on this forum before. Who has the most miles on the original engine?

I think there should be an award.

Wow that's pretty decent. My 99 BD had 71,000 miles on it when I bought it 2.5 years ago. That would be about 113,600 km right? Your still under 100k miles. You've got years left on yours!

yeh, to bad i dont have a garage. If i had i could do a lot more with the car in the meantime. bugs, rain, wind and snow would not be an issue that way.

Just my luck I bet I wont find a decent longblock for sell until like winter. Was going to try something that was hybrid but not until a LSD was put on the rear.

just cause I like my cars story! Bought Feb 2008 with 128k, on it's third engine and now ej205 swapped, 2nd trans (straight syncromess=bad), and at 174k and haven't even had it two years. I'll be over 50k miles on it in 2 years with blowing 2 engines and having atleast 3 months of downtime...

*burns oil, leaks coolan, and leaks power steering fluid. Only cause I try :smt026

Ha something like that happened to me.. coming from the Home Depot in Port Chester and on the way back home I did a WOT run but when to shift into what I thought was 5th gar but turned out to be 3rd tach shot up near 7500 before I clutched out.

I saw a 1991 SVX with 21,000 miles on it the other day. The odometer didn't work though. :p

My WRX has 107,000 on it right now, probably somewhere in the middle.

My Legacy is at ~75k miles on the engine and tranny altough rebuilt motor

but when I swapped my old MY00 impreza I put in a engine and tranny that had about 400miles on them , bought out of a wrecked 2007 impreza, the owner didnt even finish braking the engine in before he had an accident and totalled the car

My 98 GT has 215xxx on the OD... but the Forester motor I put in has 240xxx I'm told (for 300 bucks, I dont care)...

The lowest one I have in my 1967 Chevy truck with 108,000 and I'm the second owner... Everything thing else I have is over 200k....

Had 162k on my BD before I scrapped it and threw the motor/trans into my BK, which now has 165k on it. HG's finally went (original? I will soon find out, its TEARDOWN TIME) so now its got a ~60k mile JDM motor in it.

The Outback: 144,067. Runs like a top, headgaskets went at 133k.

Our '05 Forester XS: 151,003 miles. Saw the dealer for the first time since new last week for the fuel tank valve recall. Runs like new, and Blackstone says it's wear levels are much lower than average.

We run Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 with a Subaru black (can't get that anymore) filter, changed every 10,000 miles. We've stretched it to 13k before, and even then the oil analysis results came back great. Tight engine.

my grandpas cousin had a brat with like 450,000 on SOB.
then he gave it to his grandson and he was driving it to collage and
wreck it. my friend has a simler story with his civic that had like 350,000.
so he bought another one with something like 300,000 and he got T-boned
and i had a toyota pickup with 320,000 and it ran perfect.. till i rolled it.

infact i have a theory. the only way hondas, toyotas and subarus die
is in a wreck. if they just kept going the universe would explode cuz nothing is ment
go on that long. so the only way for
the universe to balance itself out is to
destroy them.
