Well I had no doubt I would not run into any problems it passed without issue and as old as my seat was it was not that bad for the trip as I thought it was going to be. Good thing I got a wagon since I will be bringing about 50% more stuff with me back...
Only one thing.. I can't seem to get into the 300's from the tank.. I may of been able to when near the N.C. border but stuff started to be spread out like 10 miles apart and I also noticed a lot of cars on the side of the road so I decided to stop for gas.. I've only filled up twice once in NJ and again near the VA, NC border I wrote what my trip was for both..

maybe ur gas mileage sucks cause you have a heavy right foot. Wasn't it you infront of dodik and me on the way back form the sli meet? Doing 90 through ct?

Yes that was me but it was more like 80 driving here I never did over 85 for the fact that I wanted to see how far I could do..
I know when I had the forester I got around 303 before I filled up but I was also dealing with cross winds and for some reason It seems like I was going way out of the way.
I will report the findings on the way back.

If you stuck closer to 70 your results would change...

funny thing was my last fill up I got 29mpg I forgot what I wrote on the trip it was not in the 300's but I'd guess I had about 5-8 gal left of gas but I was not about to try and wing it until I got into southern pines... I had like an extra 45 miles left.
When I get back I'm going to check the plugs and test my injectors I think my valves need adjusting too I posted on USMB about the sound on any throttle input

Miles per tank is a useless figure.
Miles per gallon is much more exact (but not totally exact).

And on the way back he had a car load of brakes and wheels so it was less as a roundtrip. :P
