so I am getting a little tired of seeing these high prices body kits, when you can actually find them, for the 98GT and thought about a possible conversion. Anyone know if, with some modification, I could be able to get a body kit like this one here

to fit onto my BD? if so, lemme know how much of a difference in length im looking at if you know, for example, the bumper to fender or the length of the side skirts, etc.

It'll fit... Just make sure your wallet is ready and you have plenty of time.

That kit looks like it's made from fiberglass. The sideskirts would have to be lengthened or just get a set to fit a BD. As for the front and rear, they could be cut and molded to BD spec bumper mounting points to bolt back onto your chassis. As for the flares, I'm am not sure if the rear wheel openings are the same, so those might need a little lengthening as well... To make a long story short, with some work and $... It can be done. There's more to it than what I posted, but this should give you an idea. Good luck.

which would you think is more cost effective, getting this, which is 800 after shippin (yes thats the full kit price), and do the work, or order a kit for a BG/BD which i've seen on average run around 1800, and toss that on? lol

As I always say, It's your car and wallet. The decision should always be yours. Just make sure it's done right.
