The one on the 5th, is that just kind of meeting in the parking lot and bs-ing? If so, I can make it to that. Thats only about 70mi or so north of me. I'd like to meet some of you guys and learn a few things. :)

the 5th yes we will be meeting in a parking lot, but we will be goin on a drive after hat. you can come if you want, but i do recommend it. the drive is awsome. it sounds like we will be going slow this year.

In any other car, I'd look forward to a fast paced drive. But the suspension on the LGT is a bit worn out, and its about 100hp short so... Easy pace would be good :)

you would be alright. i did it last year with a blown strut, and there was a honda hit that was with us. i woldnt worry about power. oh yea one guy was a automatic wagon and he was with us just fine.

Man, would I love to go! The BD isn't quite ready to die yet, but sadly I don't think it would be up for any sort of a 'good drive'. Additionally, I work 3rd shift for Amtrak in Seattle and my rest days are Wed/Thurs...complete suckage. I'll see if I can work something out tho to maybe attend one of the parking lot 'BS'ing' sessions.
All in all, much props to you for (once again) working so hard to put something good together for us NW ppl.

I may not be coming. I've missed West Coast Subaru Show the last three years in a row and can't do both. Besides, I want another 1st place Legacy trophy!

I'd really like to have my trans cooler installed and adjust the 3rd gear (direct drive?) band on the trans before making this trip. The way the trans shifts from 2-3 and 4-3 scares me sometimes.

Just Introducing myself as a new member to SLi, and once again, a Legacy owner. I have been a member of NASIOC for years. I had before a 94 Touring turbo, that threw rod/spun bearing, and had to get rid of, now I have a 2002 L.L. Bean Wagon.. I live in Yamhill, Oregon. I'll subscribe to this thread, and will keep my eye out for meets that I can make. Let me know if there are any other NW threads I should keep my eyes on.

Man, I'm getting really tired of never having gas money for these meets. I needs me a job, pronto!
Otherwise I would be down for coming along, I could use a good drive to test out the '02 WRX wheels and Bridgestone Potenza's that should be arriving at my doorstep on the 3rd . My mother, on the other hand, would likely prefer that I stay and continue on my job hunt (which would probably be for the best anyway). However, the moment I've got 1) a job, 2) a smoothly operating transmission (though the only real problems are with the synchros, and I rev-match, so... meh?), 3) suspension that doesn't involve a bent strut and the most warn out springs known to man, and maybe 4) a set of V7 STi heads and a JDM GR twinscroll, I'll definitely be ready to rock out with y'all on a NW meet :smt023
~ Scott
(Speaking of which, anybody here know somebody with a GD-chassis WRX or STi that wants to get rid of their struts/springs for free/cheap with pickup?)

Is this thing still on? How difficult is this drive? I have never taken my subaru offroad other than the occasional forest service roads..
