View Full Version : 97 Legacy 2.5GT with Weapon R Intake??

sup fellas. i've got a 97 LGT, 2.5 motor obviously. i just bought a weapon r dragon intake off of ebay. everything fits properly, i've got it in place. but i am confused as to how the hoses connect. on the intake pipe, there are two ports for hoses to connect to, but what happens to the other two hoses??


PLEASE HELP!

tee the two off the valve covers to one hole. and the one under the throttle body i believe comes off the pcv valve goes in the other hole idk why you have 4 hoses. its been awhile since ive looked at this so correct me if im wrong.

Yeah, I'm confused about the 4 hoses too. For my "ebay intake" it came with 2 hoses, 2 ports, and the pipe. I made my own connection to the PCV valve using a 6" long 1" diameter hose, and bought a T-fitting to branch off of the hoses coming off of each valve cover. The second port connects to a smaller port next to the PCV valve like hink01wag mentioned. Does the weapon R have 2 small ports and 1 bigger one?

You just have to do what I did then. It is all on the "ebay intake" install topic. You gotta buy a rubber plumbing coupler as well.

here's my setup:

The black rubber plumbing coupler goes right before the MAF sensor, connecting it to the aluminum tube. I also made a connector out of metal using the MAF sensor as a template and welding a 3" long 3" diameter tube to it to make a ''top hat" looking adapter piece to connect the cone filter.
