I just bought myself a JDM grill from a guy on NASIOC but its pretty bad shape. Here's the link to it. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=895044 What can I do to get it looking nice and clean?

that's not bad at all, just some paint flake.

Steps to recovery:
Cover JDM logo
Prime
Sand
Paint color of your choice
clear coat

Sand it down, prep, and spray down some paint. Either bumper coat black (to match more of a door handle color/trim piece), or other paint. Color matching will be hard, unless your car is white. Of course, make sure to mask off or remove the L7 badge before you do the work.

took two hour to make.

45 min = art work to size (vector) / cut vinyl
45 min = sand grill flat / remove old logo / cut new plastic (1/8")
30 min = lay vinyl and 3M tape (VHB)

DIY = free

Is the JDM grill the only one that came factory with the "X" plastic mesh look? I want to do that with the wife's grill & install the STi logo offset on the right side.
