Lateral links.
i did a lot of looking around for something to bolt on but couldn't find anything until of course i built them... go figure but still way too much to purchase them from Whiteline.

i went to the junkyard and and searched for the stiffest and best built tie rods cuz they have a turn buckle style of adjustment. (94-95 Ford Explorer) is what i found.
now take into consideration there are two lateral links. one is for the toe and the other is for the camber. i should have done both but only had time for the camber adjustment cuz that was the worst after putting in the TIEN coilovers.

FYI-set your suspension to half way point and determine how much you need to adjust the camber to be 0'ed out. quickest way is to get a string and tie a nut to the end of it. put it to the wheel and hold it tell it is strait up and down. measure the top or the bottom of the string to the rim one side will be touching the rim. Now do this before you take the car off the ground and before you remove the links!!! take the tie rods and set them a their half way point take the measurement and divide it in half and add or subtract that from your cut point on the tie rod.

1.) you need to get the stock links out.

2.) remove the bushings from them so you don't destroy the bushings when you weld the parts together.

3.) once the bushings are out its a good time to remove all grim paint and oil that may be on the links.

4.) once your done cleaning its time to mark where your going to cut... then i would suggest drilling two holes in between the bushing hole and a 1/2" above the cut line.(this is for when you weld to add a better connection to the tie rod).

5.) cut the and clean the tie rod to match the stock length of the link. put the two together and weld it up.

If you notice i cut the link right at where the threads of the tie rod sit. and use the cut off of the link to level out the tie rod.

clean up the welds paint and your done. time to install and adjust. use the same string method to 0 out the wheels. THEN TAKE IT TO THE ALIGNMENT PLACE ASAP.
