I am currently getting ready to install a Lanzar Vibe 410 amp (75w x 4 RMS) which will drive a pair of Polk DB6500 components and another pair of Infinity Perfect 6 1/2" components. I just wanted to see where you guys mounted your amps. This car is for work/family so I need stuff mounted out of the way.

I'm also looking for cup mounts for the Infinity tweeters, I had no luck searching ebay + google. You guys have any leads?

Thanks
Jason

I'm less familiar with your car, as it's one generation older than I have.

Do you have a space above the spare tire in your trunk like the 05-09 wagons? The foam in those can be taken out, and replaced with an amp rack. (It's what I did for my amp rack)

Yeah there's plenty of space back there if you still use your spacesaver spare - don't even need to remove foam. You'll just lose a place for your storage tray if your wagon came with one.

I removed the storage tray and took a piece of flat mdf board. mounted the amp on that. layed it flat across the spare tire and then took a 1 x 1 post and layed it horizontally across the back so it held it in place

Hey, I have a 95 legacy, and I was wondering if there are any pre-existing holes in the firewall so I can run power from my battery to the amp? I can't seem to find any

check above the footwell in the engine bay. might be a rubber grommet in the way that you have to unplug first?...

On my '95 BG I 'hanged' the amp upside-down from the passenger seat:

And that was my woofer:

I'm still figuring out what to do in my current BH, though...

My stock Mcintosh amp is under the passenger seat, but want more bass and the stock location the sub is rightside fender in the rear of the hatch.

Wonder if there were more ideas on how to mount an amp and bigger sub with out losing cargo space
