Im looking at picking up struts for a 02-03 wrx.
Ive found out that the bearing plate for the wrx and my 95 BK wagon are the same in the front and i think in the back.
Im also looking at getting 04 sti springs but im wondering if the upper spring seat will mate up to the STi springs. Ive also seen on nasioc that people who swap from 02-03 wrx struts to 04 springs have to use 04 beaing plate and upper seat for the spring to mate up to their car in the rear.
Im wondering what all i need to get a set of 02-03 struts with 04 STi struts to mate up with my 95 BK wagon ive been reading but im not fnding a definate list of what im going to need. maybe ive just not searched enough.
Im thinking right now im going to at least need
- 02-03 struts
- 04 springs
but after that im still kinda lost on if i need to get upper mounts from a differnt car or what? im planning next year of getting group N upper strut mounts or making a set of camber plates if can find the right bearings for it all to work at a decent price because i need to save some for school ive maxed out my budget for cars for the summer after the new suspension.
