there are so many posts about this topic. Not to be rude but have you even tried using the search? SLi's search is pretty good compared to the old forum.

To answer your question. STi exhaust is to big 2.5" IMHO if its the style with the STi logo embossed on the tip. Apparently the STi tip without the logo are 2.25" but this can be debated (Wink at GC8)

The path after the catalytic converter is identical to all EJ** motors. The only hanger you will have to modify is after the axle where the bend curves up towards the subframe.

Remember Back-pressure is the KEY to Naturally Aspirated engines.

Best bet is to find someone with a WRX or 2.5RS (2.25") midpipe + axle back and change the one hanger. Everything should be bolt on, from the pipes to the gaskets to the hangers (excluding the one I mentioned above)
