Momo Steering wheel question.

Does the Momo have the same airbag cartridge as the Original?

I don't want to risk anything with this mod.

I did an 02 Momo wheel (GD WRX) onto a 98 Legacy (BK/BD). It doesn't have the exact same SHAPE cartridge, but the harness plugs all worked fine and the SRS light wasn't on, so the voltage checks out for the system. As far as my SRS sensors are concerned, if I get a frontal impact, it's going to deploy the bags.

For your particular car, unless you can find someone that's done the swap before, you will probably be the test guinea pig.
