do you know what brand of high flow cat that was?? and i bet as soon as you get the UEL single port headers it'll sound MUCH better. the user DLC just got some single port headers, you can ask him from where. I've been looking for a group A pitch mount! where did you find one??

well I was doing the phenolic spacer install today.

Well lets just say i'm furious at subaru for tell me the torque values were 18ft-lbs and now I have to drill and tap.

finally got my group N transmission and engine mounts installed and MS3 UEL header. Couldnt use my catpipe because its not the right angle i'll need to get my friend to fix this.

One thing thats weird is that my car feels somewhat slower now but this could be because of the crazy exhaust leak I have right now.

Now just gotta wire up the JDM marker lights! Anyone got info on that?

Just scuffed it up a bit and painted over to see if I liked it and I do.

I'll need a grinder or something to get her nice and smooth, the rust is pretty thick on it.

Made a homemade grounding kit today. Same style as the paranoid fabrications ones. Also added another ground from the drivers side strut tower. Didnt feel much difference, more of a bling mod I guess.

what I hate is that my BK runs PERFECT. All mechanical stuff is perfect. But the body is really screwed. I would need to get my pinch welds redone. My rear fenders would need to be cut out and rewelded and such. I really love this wagon :(

If I could I would get all the body work redone and slap on a raptor supercharger!

darn you got single port headers.. I was going to ask for a sound clip if possible I was thinking of getting a magnaflow muffer but not sure about the high flow cat.. where does it go? does it take the place of the two under the car or is it the one after the first cat?

Gah! Elle is starting to hate her daily 200km commute! Shes 240,000KM now and has decided that she wants a new alternator, MAF Sensor and Oxygen Sensor :(. Shes misfiring like crazy and I could even smell my new cat starting to burn so until I get my parts she will have to be parked :( $500 later and hopefully she'll be like brand new again!

Brakes were sticking so I decided to take them off and clean the surfaces really good and apply a little bit of anti-seize too them. Good time to do this while my car will be parked until I get my parts.

Hey, I just wanted to mention that I'm in Edmonton, and just sold my 99 impreza Brighton wagon, and I didn't have any rust, I was the second owner and didn't really do anything special. Some of BC and lots of Ontario and Quebec as well as the east coast are really hard climates on the cars it seems. Your rust doesn't actually seem bad for the east to be honest, but you don't see much rust in Alberta - if you do, it's because people never washed their cars in winter with the salt on the roads. Just a rude interjection, sorry! :D Carry on, I like your wagon very much by the way! And, the yellow fogs are boss!

starting stripping my wagon. going to repair it properly, going to be dropping my rear subframe and tank to pass all new brake lines from front too back. I have alot of work to do but when i'm done she'll be like brand new. Also looking into picking up a 2.5RS as a daily driver.

hey guys little change of plans i'm going to be picking up 1998 gt wagon. red and its been hit up front so it will need a new bumper, hood, rad and rad support. the front timing cover was cracked too and the timing belt was little cut up too. the owner said the car was still running when it was hit but it hasnt run since. only 114,000km on it though so I may rip the ej25 appart and rebuild it with delta cams and such.

Got my 97 GT wagon. Its in alot worse shape then I thought so I wont be fixing it up. Kinda disapointed too that one part I needed the most was the coil pack but its a different style then mine :(

I'll be swaping over some doors and the hatch this summer since I have some that are pretty badly rusted haha. Atleast i'll have some GT sideskirts and rear bumper now and a spoiler. Wish I could swap over the sunroof! haha!

I'll be throwing in the cluster with tacho and front 2 pot brakes and rear disc brake conversion. I'm pretty sure the GT's rear sway bar is bigger but i'll have to look that up or if anyone knows for sure?

I'll start taking apart the EJ25 as well and if everything looks fine i'll start rebuilding that as well.

Hey dude, wanted to ask your opinion on a couple things. How difficult was the install on those IM spacers? Also, I saw you're running Xentec HIDs. One of my hids blew out, so Im looking for a new kit. I saw the xentec stuff on ebay for cheap. Would you recommend them ?

IM Manifold spacers are a breeze, as long as you can get your old IM gaskets off in one piece, or else you'll have to scrape the residue off which can be a little difficult cause its tight in there.

I love my Xentec HID's, had them for almost 2 years now and they havent let me down, and I drive ALOT

I'm up in wayyyy northern ontario, Timmins.

Corner markers bought them off reuben in NZ.

All painted, looks a bit orange in the picture but outside in the sun its red. Not as dark as I had hoped but oh well.

NICE ZAC! its i loved that color for my manifold. it will look great in yours too!!!!!

You havent done any work with sway bars yet have you? if you havent, have you ever thought of painting the front sway bar on our cars?

no sway bar work yet but that is next on my list after body work is finished. I was planning on painting mine pink :)

so how much do you love your ej22?? its a bit out of the ordinary on this site, but i gotta say i love mine. as ive started to break mine in after the rebuild and all the mod work i put into it, IT IS FUN!!!! AND FAST!!!! :lol: I hunger for even more power though. thinking about my next step being IM spacers, throttle body spacer, and some lightweight pulleys.

I love my phenolic spacers! Low end power was greatly increased! I am now able to cruise around in 4th gear it lower speeds and still step on it a little without it bogging down :)

And my manifold stays cold all the time now!

was driving my parents pontiac vibe for almost 3 months now. It was just getting out of hand I needed my own car. I am very disapointed that I could not fix mine but i have been dumping too much money into putting parts into it :(

I just wire wheeled the whole thing, then sanded it with 2000grit and used VHT high heat paint.
