wrx 6 disk?

ok well i got an 06 wrx player i installed it and turn it on and it worked fine. i then remembered that i didnt ground it. so i did and i disconnected everything an put it back together, then it didnt work. i just bought another wrx player from an 02. i just installed it with ground and now nothing. also when i put the stock player back it it resets everytime i turn the car on and the cd wont work. iv check the fuses and there find the fuses for my dome lights blew at the time of the first install. anyone?

I didnt have to ground anything w/ my 02 6disc into my 97 BK. Its been fine the last couple of months.

Check the fuses for common links (2 things off of 1 fuse) and in the engine area?

Also, I thought the antenna was the common ground?

Go to any car place that sells car electrical and buy a test light (if you dont have one) and turn your key to the on position and see if your getting power to the cd player. It sounds like you might have blown the power line going to the battery, which isnt good!

ok so im back from vaca. and i went an bought some fuses and for some reason it keeps blowing the fuses that controls the dome light and shows which doors are open. i also drove the car at night and it seems that the deck is getting power, the lights turn on fine, just nothing is working i think theres two power cords, dose anyone have a wire diagram?


It sounds like you might have blown the power line going to the battery, which isnt good!
how can i fix this and check for it? if this is the case
