Some guy wants to me to trade my 16' stock mesh for his 18' Stern ST1 black. Is that a good deal? What you guys think?

pics would be nice, but hey google is awsome. i dont know if they would look good. if you like the wheels then get them, if you can have them on the car and see what they look like.

Do you have money for 18" tires?

Ha the guy said they rub so most likely I will not do the trade. I feel 18's are to big for the leg. I would like factory subaru wheels!

They might rub, depending on your camber, tires, and what car you have. More information would be useful to that respect.

But I would echo Huffer, 18" tires are expensive.

I know a guy who has those same wheels on his 1G Talon. They are pretty wide, 8" I think. Maybe see if he'll let you do a test fit prior to trading.

Oh, and for some of the "cheaper" tires, switch from stock size LGT tires to 18" tires of the same diameter and slightly wider (say, 225) and they are going to run about 2x as much. Like, $70 for stock size versus $140 for 18s. The 235-40-18s Falkins I bought for my last car were $176 each, and that was 2 years ago. They are pushing $200 each now.

i have a set of 18's for sale. they are 18x7.5 -45et. i think those would be better for you. also you can keep stocks for winter wheels, and they are black like your car.
