shifter thread size?

Anyone know if the thread size on the 96 L sedan, shifter [ 12x1.25 or 12x1.5. ]

Going to be Cutting a little of the shifter and need to know the size of the threads. thanks :grin:

As far as I know it's 12 x 1.25.
