Hey everyone,

I am going to get my car inspected. I suspect I will need brake pads and rotors. (The inspection is probably going to give the best idea of what needs to be done.)

How much should I expect to pay for decent ceramic pads? And if I need to get new rotors, should I stick with OEM or are there any really good "bang for the buck" deals out there? I don't need anything expensive - if I can go a LITTLE bit sportier than now for not too much more coin, that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

I just got some Hawk ceramics for my front brakes when they were toast. Rotors really don't make much difference, just find some cheap blanks unless you do track days frequently, then consider drilled or slotted. I'm happy with the Hawks so far. I pick up the pads for $85 on sale.

Ramon - good pads and basic rotors are all you need. You're not beating on your car so the cheaper Autozone rotors + Hawk HPS pads will be great for you.

i think hawk pads are the worst pads ever. i would rather have autozone valuecraft pad over hawk pads.
