i was goin through my old pparts and forgot about my w-r breather filter i got with the intake. i just dont kno wht hose it goes to on my 2nd gen.

I never figured out what the purpose of the breather filter was anyway. It goes at the "T" fitting that connects the hoses from the valve covers right? Put in a "+" in the place of the "T" and stick a hose clamp on it. That's what I remember seeing people do at least... :smt017

yea i dont no wht they do but i figured id throw it on. so cn u get a + form like auto zone?

Absolutely. Just make sure you take a piece of your current hose so you can be sure it's the correct size.

Does anybody know what function the breather is supposed to hold? More airflow to the engine when the PCV valve closes maybe for a smoother transition? Wont it throw off your A/F mixture if you're drawing in outside air post-MAF sensor?

The breather filters connect to the cankcase nipples, it releases the positive crankcase pressure while keeping the fumes and oil from going back into the CAI, basically it just keeps the air clean from the MAF to the TB.
