I have just bought a 1999 Legacy GT Wagon (BK). Very nice car but would like to swap some better seats in it. What options do I have? What other Subaru seats will fit into this model. Maybe some WRX or STI seats from a newer model? I was looking into the corbeau GTS II but the listing for the seat brackets is confusing. Here is the link to the bracket listings.

This is yours:
OUTBACK 97-04 D1208T / D1209T

As for seats, anything from an Impreza 94-07 will bolt in. It will raise you about 1", but most USDM seats have height adjustment to lower down about 1/2".

Also, any Legacy 95-05 will also fit, and I would think 05+ as well.

Okin has some of these seats. If anyone should know, he would.

BD=95-99 Sedan
BG=95-99 Wagon (raised roof aka 96-99 outback)
BK=95-99 Wagon

No problem. These cars are simple and easy to work on (which is why I love them), but sometimes they get a bit confusing. My friend told me that the only reason why he is helping me with my engine swap (which I am fully documenting by the way) is because it is a subaru. Anything else and he would have said no. He said that he is Toyota all the way but that he can do an engine extraction and install on a subaru in half the time. :)

I've got some 03 WRX seats in my BK4 and they're a huge improvement over the stockers, and cheap ($75-100).

It's called searching around, looking for bargains and waiting patiently.
Hanging out on WRX forums or NASIOC in the local chapters section usually can score you a good deal with someone who bought race seats and wants to free up some garage space.

That's what I hear I have my eyes on some the driver's seat sucks so bad it has to be so dry rotted.. always feels like I'm sinking into the seat so I'm always sitting up.
