So new plans. Sourced a mint BD for under $1500 with a blown head gasket. This will be my track car.

Now its all about my daily driver, help me decide and Vote.

Yes.. and it feels small for a new car. The GG/SF feels more like the BD/BK, but I do like the bug eyes.

I voted for the BG. Get a late model limited 5 speed with the two sunroofs. Those are so sweet. Slam it on coils, do some JDM touches and you're done.

I found a few good condition 98' BG's but none have sunroofs. Price $1800-3000 CAN.

I voted for the BG Outback, specifically a 99 Limited. My friend just got one and they are plain beautiful inside and out.

So looks like its going to be a 96' BG outback w/ EJ22E / 5MT @ 350,000km. Pre-owend buy some boonies police force. Well maintained. Runs like a champ, no knock, no noise, oil is clean w/ no metal bits.

Price = $450 CAN!

The Downside:
Cracked windshield. Rust around the windshield.
Needs Front/Rear brakes + e-brake

I decided to see what it would it take to fix.
Glass = $175 CAN
Repair = $free (me) 3-4 hours of labor and $30 of material
Brakes = $300 (economy stuff)
e-brake = $free (recovered from one of my parts car)
Safety = $50
Emissions test = $36
Towing of the car from the seller to my shop = $free (seller offered her CAA :-D)
Total = $1041 CAN! not including maintenance items like timing belt, water pump, etc..

What do you guys think. The deal isn't final I am going to try to shoot for this sunday and try to low ball the seller down to $400.

Any input would help.
