Can anyone post the max size of speaker which clears everything without using any spacers in a1997 Brighton wagon with manual windows? If you can point me in the direction of any DIY that would be great.I dont want to break anything :-)
And does the newer 08,09 WRX headunit have the same harness as my 97?

Why flame? This is sli.
You have to use a spacer to fit aftermarket speakers. I'v done this a few times on a few wagons and sedans. Wood and a saw makes some nice speaker rings.
Wiring harness is the same
