hey guys
when i take the car out after its been raining/ moisture in the air
it has a high pitched hisss kinda sound. doesn't really sound bad...
but i'd rather know what it is.
it doesn't make a sound on warm days at all, just when theres moisture in the air
does anyone else get this? is it a belt or pully or something?
right now i'm not worried, should i be?

where is the sound exactly coming from??
my belts are tight, but they do squeak on a rainy/humid day sometimes.

wheres the sound coming from it might not be ur belts? is there any smoke? if your belt is slipping so bad it never grabs there would be smoke and ur belt aint doing to last long.

Your car a 5spd? If so.. try pressing in the clutch pedal to see if it goes away.. throw out bearing possibly?

yes 5speed, no it isn't the clutch.
i think i solved the problem by replacing the belt, no squeel during day or tonight after it rained
+ installed my ngk irridiums and ngk wires, oil change, and threw on some new toyos :smt026
