So iv been looking for a newer car WRX/SRT-4/Celica GT-S/Sentra S-ER blah blah blah but id really like AWD cuz FWD is ok but sucks on anything but drive pavment...but wrx's are really expensive and I mean even 1998-1999 legacy GT's people want 6-9 grand for if its under 120k and the HG's still need to be done
I would really like to fix my car I love it, its just after Getting new headlights so I can see, probably jdm projectors, fixing my blinker (blinks fast for some reason), fixing the rust, getting a new CV join, fixing the A/C, getting a new Head unit (doesnt play CD's when below frezzing), getting an exhaust, replacing my HVAC bulbs and getting my rotors turned or getting new ones, id still have an Auto tranny and a leaking Valve cover gasket thats guna cost alot to fix
Id like a 5spd second gen GT in black white or silver but im having a hard time finding one and its still guna have most of the problems mine does (HVAC bulbs, rust, headlights) and i could go newer but 5spd BE's are supper hard to find and there basiacly a BD but hard to mod and heavier (yes I know they dont blow HG's)
the fastest, sportiest, cheapest but still low miles, good condition manual tranny car's I can find out there are Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V's and Dodge Srt-4's but there FWD (at least they hav LSD's) and id still be saving for a while. idk

I would say if you want a specific car, wait until you find it. Don't jump on something that you're not 100% sure that you want...cuz then you're stuck with the thing. If you can keep your car going like it is now, while you shop, you can take your time to find what you want.

Bugeye's aren't that expensive. They're going to run the same price if not lower than an SRT-4, which didn't come with an LSD for the first year or two. SE-R's are terrible. The quality of the car is no where near the quality of a Subaru. All the things that you said are wrong with your car are not that serious. The most expensive would be a CV, and that's just for the part. Everything you can do on your own if you have the patience. Valve covers cost anywhere from $12 to $45 and you can do it yourselve; there is a write up on this site.
But, if you really want a 5sp and your so desperate that nothing will change your mind otherwise, look for a bugeye. You can find them on the bay, even the modded ones, for under 9 even 8 grand.

Its been scientifically proven SRT4s turn you into a douchebag. 100% serious.

Please do not get an SRT-4. Not only will it blow up on after 50k miles, but the reasons above are true.
If you still want an older Legacy, and you're willing to come down to CO to get it, there are tons of 2nd gens for sale here for way cheap. Not only that, but you can get a decent wrx or 2.5rs for between 7 and 9 grand around here.

the 03 SRT-4's dont have and LSD but the 04-05's do and 250 lb-ft of tq at 2200 RPM. and less turbo lag than a WRX lol

I know there not that seriouse but thats the annoying part I'm guna do the CV pretty soon but I wana get headers and an exhaust and I dont want my valve cover leaking all over them and i dont have an engine hoist or anything and i tryed changing my gauge face plates and that kinda discurged me from doing mods like that my self I end up spending more time fixing the stuf i broke then the actually mod and then putting it back to stock in the end anyway. and even if i fix it all im guna have an auto with a 90/10 tq split

i wouldnt say despperate but im not guna by another car unless its a 5/6 speed orand auto like on the GTI or EVO 10. i origonaly wanted an 04-05 wrx cuz i though bug eyes were ugly but iv seen a few in person and there not that bad at all i would like the sunroof but i could live without but i sit on auto trader and car soup all day and cant find much for WRX's

second ones sold and they both have over 100k
Deals like this pop up all the time here on Craigslist:

Are you afraid of cars over 100k? If you're not in a hurry one will pop up under 100k, just keep looking.

Also my brake rotos are warped (i know easy fit) but my ABS sensor is also out...not like there nessesary though
I'm not "afraid" its just if I get a manual 2nd Gen legacy GT or a WRX I'm guna wana put alot of money into it and keep it for a feww years and if its already got 120k i dont want it to fall apart in a few years when its at 200k
and i got my legacy at 170k and ended up having to replace the tranny i dont wana get a new leggy and have the same problem

Just from a quick read, but sounds like your car is a victim of neglect. These cars last a long time when taken care of. Fix it when something goes wrong. It's like you wait to pay a bill to do something else and they star to pile up. You get a newer car how long will it take for it to go down hill? Unless you don't have cash to buy a newer car I wouldn't do it.

Look for a 1 owner car with complete service records, all service done either at the dealer or by a knowlegable Subaru mechanic. Avoid cars from places with salt. Be picky, and you will find the car worth taking care of.

Whatever you do, just DO NOT get FWD, especially if you want something powerful. I used to have an 07 Mazdaspeed3, and while in 3rd gear on up it was quite fun, WOT in 1st and 2nd just equaled tire smoke, and it didn't even run full boost in those gears. And the MS3 has an LSD, and I had upgraded tires. Still burned them easily.
Needless to say, I sold it, and got something AWD.

I know sometimes wheel spin is fun but I'v learned that it seems like AWD cars have way more than 2 more wheels putting power down they never spin under acceleration unless you have a ton of power but even a FWD car with 140 HP can spin on a clutch drop AWD just hooks up and goes
