Every year Davenport Subaru invites us to participate in the King of the Hill at Barrie Speedway in Orillia Ontario. This is basically an arm drop drag race on the oval. This evening, they had Subaru Canada execs there to help launch the Gilda's Club Cancer Foundation fund raiser. There were close to 3000 people in the stands, lots of fun had by all.
Here's one of the Races: The Titanium BE / BH is mine, and I was lined up against my friend in the 2004 STI with GT28RS Rotated turbo with FMIC. His car dyno'd at 305 WHP on a Mustang Dyno with a flat torque curve. Both of us were using Toyo R888 GGG compound tires, and the screeching you hear is from both of our launches, including the chirp from the 1-2 shift.
