I did my research, and couldn't find any DIY's on this, so can you point me at them if they do exist, or let's come up with something here  I have 2000 Legacy GT Limited and its dashboard light is green which is my least favorite color for dashboard light. Besides it's dark and not looking good. The color I'd really like to have is white, but even orange or red would be better than green. My main point of interest is instrument cluster, but I might try buttons color change if it's possible.

Can you school me about it please? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link KAG.

After reading this thread I realized that all I need to do is change the bulbs, which means there are nothing else in between bulb and cluster that give it a color, is that right? For now I am only going to change instruments & odometer & time/temp illumination bulbs to white ones.

Bulbs to get:
For Instrument Cluster (blue area) Four WLED-W4;[/*:m:1gq8aj3p]
For time/temp & odometer (red area) Two (one for each) T1.5-WHP.
Grand Total: $20.94

Not bad, only 20$. No mods needs to be done, they will easily fit in place, correct? Now, is there any step-by-step dashboard disassemble DIY? Do I have to take the whole dashboard apart (including radio, ashtray, A/C control etc) to take instrument cluster out? Thanks in advance and sorry about all this questions, but I am a noobie that is trying to self educate.

I'd suggest reading the DIY threads a bit closer...you'll find the answers in there.

FWIW, on the earlier models (BD/BG/BK) there is a green backing that can be sanded off to eliminate the green light. No idea about the later BE/BH models.
