can anybody tell me if they know where i can find a subaru turbo legacy engine an do you know if it will fit the 95 subaru legacy l ?

nawh actually i did the test you told me to do. I sprayed the maf cleaner in the intake an it cleaned it, the car runs like it did before. no boggin or losin rpm. I was just lookin for an engine that would be easier to upgrade instead of some 2.2 non mod. hey thanks btw for helpin me with fixing my scooby all the things you told me to do worked out great. but i do think its time for a new engine. I just was wonderin an all

The best place to look for a used ej22t would be the junkyard nearest you.

It'll "fit" in your car, but you will have to do a LOT of wiring as well as you will need the necessary parts for swapping an n/a engine to a turbo engine.

WRX engine will bolt right up too. Just need to do the complicated wiring.

im gonna make a few phone calls in the morning for a ej22t an a wrx engine. so hopefully something will work out. I'm sure that I want this 2.2L non-able mod to be gone an something under the hood with a easier mod approach

You may want to spend an evening reading the swaps and conversions forum before you do this.

I suggest WRX 2.0 or 2.5 swap. It's OBDII compliant, and you can tune it to whatever your goals are.
ej22t is a strong engine, but for a serious upgrade, you'd want to think newer.
