Coilovers. Need sugestions.

Im looking for a new suspension for the BE.
I don't want to lower it but i want it to be even better in the corners.
Other chassis upgrades are also welcome.

Swaybars to control body roll, Bilstein shocks with stock springs for improved damping and new bushings all around.

A nice tire with stiff sidewalls will help a LOT. Having great tires makes a hugely noticeable difference straight away.

Will get proper tires once i find some nice 17's and the cash to pay for them.
I already started with the front strut bar off of a russian B4, im looking at swaybars and bushings at boxer4racing, The problem for me is the shipping prices.

You could always go nuts and get a complete coil over system from D2 for a very reasonable price. In fact, I think I paid somewhere around $900 all together for mine. They're fully adjustable including the camber and damper. Also, +1 on the sway bars. Those help a ton.

I have seen D2 around here somewhere in a Norwegian web shop.
They have the following models for the BE:
D2 RS Coilover System
D2 Rally Coilovers
D2 Drift Coilovers And Pro Spec Coilovers.

Do you know if D2 Coilovers are TüV Certified? Because that's a big issue here, the Norwegian DMV is totally anal on papers and modifications.

Edit: All the kits cost about 10 000 NOK. Thats 1650US Dollars.

search on NASIOC on the dyno plots for D2/ksport coilovers. there's a reason theyre that cheap. Also, I hope you also have money to have any coilover rebuilt periodically, it's something people often overlook with these things - they need to be rebuilt every 30-45k miles, depending on manufacturer. That is, if you even can get them rebuilt in your country to begin with. Thirdly, your car sees snow and sub-freezing temps, that's not the best environment for coilovers. I hope you enjoy that ride height you set it to initially, because once corrosion sets in, youre not going to get those sleeves to move after the fact.

There are no rust on the car. In this part of Norway they don't use salt on the road. But i will think some more about my options.

this is going to be your biggest issue. Go with the bilstein struts and some nice springs.

i have k-sport coilover on my GT97. I install it at the begining of the summer. i run it arond 200km on track. I'm happy with it, but it is not stiff enouth. One top plate collapse.... and k-sport send me a new one... but the wrong ( the whole who slide the shock is too wide) so it collapse after some lap..... When you can't buy quality, you deal with probleme

D2 and K-sport coilovers are absolute garbage. megan, BC, all the other cheapo brands, JIC, and most tein products are not much better.

want an actual good suspension setup? There are a few places that make good dampers some of them are konis, bilstein, kw, ast, jrz, penske, moton, and ohlins

KWs are one of the least expensive good coilovers and they're TUV certified.

obviously neither list is compete, but I don't think I'm missing too much. Of course, if you're not ever on a race track and don't care about good handling, knock yourself out with whatever you want to buy. Just don't be surprised when it sucks.

Hrm. I haven't had any issues at all with my D2's (yet.) In fact, they've been great. I have no complaints at all thus far. The camber plates and damper adjustments work extremely well and I haven't had any problems adjusting height either. However, I've only had them on the car for about 5-6 months. So, we'll see how it turns out in the long run.

K sport is the same garbage. Just good for the look.....
