JDM BE taillights

I just have a very quick question.
What bulbs do the signals use on the JDM taillights?

I believe they use different ones than the stock USDM ones?

so i was right when I guessed which bulbs they use. However, when I try to put new bulbs in, I couldnt turn and lock it.

i made new lines for them to be in.

Mine came stock with Clear smoked tails. EDM GX-edition.

let me bump this old thread up....

i just compared the jdm bulb and my usdm (1156) bulb

The usdm one is exactly the same as the one in the pic. However, the JDM's two "little locking thing" on the sides of the bulb are actually lower instead of right in the middle. :S

Sounds like you need to swap out the bulb socket bases.

yeah, you can totally swap it the light bases with each other, you don't have to stick with one or the other. You're overthinking the problem me thinks

do I just simply turn the bulbs out and swap the bases?

You can also just trim one of the locking pins down a little bit. I didt that when i went for orange parkinglights like a usdm lookalike.
