I've had mine for about a little more than a year now. The first thing you'll notice is the NOISE. Sounds like somethings under the hood when you hammer on it. As for power increase, i think there was a little incease. But i think since i have a 2.2L i didn't notice such a big increase in power, it takes a small amount of air to power those engines anyways. I'm thinking around a 2-5hp increase feels right. The quality is top notch!

what do you mean like it sounds like something moving or what not under the hood.
and I'm happy to here that there good
now I just wish I could here one on the exact year of my leggy cuz I love the way mine sounds now and I just don't want it to sound shitty.

i think it just makes a "vrooming" sound because the airflow doesn't go through the silencer box thingy in you front right fender anymore. I just took out the silencer box, it's extra weight after you put in this intake.. What year is your car?

No, I'm afraid you have no idea what kind of noise an intake makes compared to the exhaust lol
I forgot about the sound of my exhaust after I installed my intake b/c when I put it to the floor I couldn't HEAR my exhaust anymore. Intakes are really loud on legacies. It took me a while to get used to. It's fun to make loud noises though...

hmm well is it cuz of the intake piping being metal? cuz right now its my exhaust system you here.
when i first got my leggy the frist mod I did to it was a custom intake, I took out the air box and added a cone to it and when I did that the only time i herd the intake was when I was taking off but then it would eventrually go alway.
I didn't get the exhaust system till way later.

Well, kinda. It's because it's metal, it turbulent flow, and it doesn't have any resonators anymore. What you hear is pretty much a standing wave reverberating through the thin aluminum wall of the intake tube. Engineers actually put a lot of work to tune out all of the frequencies that cause a vibration/noise, but they also have to restrict the flow a bunch to make it more laminar in order to do this. John Q Public doesn't like a loud intake, even if it might be allowing the engine to work more efficiently.
