Wrx dash swap question??

Has anyone retro fit an 02 wrx dash and console into anything like a 97 legacy sedan????
I have an 02 ej20t that i will be swappin into my leggy, and i would really like a full wrx dash if its possible. I can get my hands on an 03 wagon wrx dash fairly easily, but i dont want to buy it if its not possible to fit. i am aware if its been done it probably would take alot of moddin, so if anyone has any info hit me up!!! thanks!!

Okay so i got a pretty good rundown on how difficult this is, but if anyone has done it i would like to take a look see. I think i will go with my legacy dash.

Hey. I was talking to a mate of mine who owns an 02. (in the states of course)

Apparently you most certainly did not get the pink injectors. So unless you upgrade those, sending a V7 STi ECU will not work. He said stock ones were 440cc though, which is what i'm running on my 2L, with no issues. But yeah, my point is, you'll need to run it on a factory ECU, or do the whole upgrade (I'd recomend the upgrade, STi is soooooooooooooo much better than WRX).

Okay, so what your sayin is i can use the upgraded pink injectors, and sti ecu, on my stock ej20t? Without any building of the engine itself?
