In the event I can't do it during the fall any downsides to getting tints in the winter?

I had mine put on in Feb. a couple years ago. Came out just fine.
The place I got mine done have a lifetime warranty, so if you end up with bubbles on the corners or it's peeling for some reason, they'll fix it for free.

Just make sure their shop is plenty warm when installing, and minimize opening/closing doors on the car for a couple of days - if you can park it indoors away from the snow it'll help the tint adhere better.

I did a set of tints on an Odyssey once in a garage, I just heated the whole space up to around 65-70degF and stayed in there for a couple of hours. 4 years on the tint is still sticking.
