Noob needing advice...

Hi all.... Just new to this forum & looking to buy a B4 Rsk.. Ive got a test drive booked this week, so would appreciate some info on this car guys...

Bit new to all this as im cumming from a 2.5 v6 vec... :roll:



So just a basic wot 2 look out for & recommended parts to be replaced etc etc..

Welcome to SLi.

Nice choice. B4 RSK is dirty legacy to be rolling around in.

Basic things to take note:
High mileage motor = high mileage turbo. Signs of a bad turbo , shaft play, damaged fins, blown seals.
Timing belt, water pump, basic maintenance. have they been done or when should they be done
Common rust spots. Top of the windshield, rear quarter panel (where the bumper and quarter meet), around the gas cap
Damage to the underbody (previous owners mistakes)

there are so many things to check when buying a scooby.

Cheers Chuck... Belts have been done & also clutch.. car shows no signs of rust so assume that previous owner took care of her...

Will post pics up if i decide to buy...
