So im starting to think either me or my car is cursed. Since i've got the car, i've had nothing but little things go wrong and just the other day it continued. As i was on my way to my parents from my house which is less then 5 miles away, i was going down a hill that was covered in snow because my township is completly lazy and dont do their job. As i went to stop at a stop sign, my car caught ice and just continued down the hill. Due to the slop and the angle of the hill, it pitched the car to the left, catching speed and sent me into wire guardrail. I quickly shut off the car and inspected the damage. At first look, it crushed the front of the left side fender, knocked off the leftside bumper, broke the left headlight and shatterd the grill. All of this which was just fixed no more then a month ago after hitting a deer on the same side. So far since owning this car i've hit 2 deer and now a guardrail.. Im starting to think either im a really really bad driver, or im cursed... or maybe its just both...... :(

Damn Astin, that really sucks. :(

I was starting to think my car was cursed too because I kept breaking stuff. Then I remembered that almost all of my problems were related to mods I had done and were my own damn fault. Curses. It'd be nice to blame someone or something else but noooooo, it had to be my fault.

Um, hate to point out the obvious, but it was snowing, and you caught some ice on a downhill slope. That's pretty common (for ice to form on a down slope).

You didn't stop on ice. Also pretty common.

You hit a couple of deer - well deer don't act in predictable ways.

None of it is your fault, though the ice one might tell you to drive even slower next time, or to get studded tires?

Best of luck, sounds like the bad run will be over now (providing you're extremely cautious from here on out).

Saw some footage in Oklahoma last night where cops were just sitting beneath an overbridge watching commuters spin off the side of the road...WTF!?

Astin-the insurance will cover it, right? usually they just write a check for a dealership estimate...so go get yourself some JDM headlights and a nicer grille or something :D Look on the bright side :)

It still sucks to have that sorta stuff happen...best of luck :)
