Just joined here and thought I'd share my ride with you all.

I have a 1998 Liberty RX (Legacy to you guys) which has had a V3 STi conversion done. Unfortunately, my original one (green one) was in an accident and declared uneconomical to repair. I bought the car back and stripped out all my mods and put into a new maroon body of the same model.

Here are the mods that were done.

JDM V3 WRX STi motor
Custom in-guard cold air intake
100mm (4") FMIC
3" TBE
Parallel fuel lines
TurboSmart e-Boost2
AEM Wideband Air/Fuel
Xede piggyback ECU
JDM 06 WRX STi Spec C 6 speed with DCCD
Spiider Dccd controller
Carbotic Racing 5 button clutch
JDM 02 WRX STi Brembos front and rear
Stainless braided brake lines
Project Mu race pads
JDM 02 WRX STi R180 rear end assembly
Cusco Zero 2 coilovers
Work Emotion CR Kai 17x8s
Morette Headlights

Best dyno reading was 206.5kws and best time down the 1/4 mile was a 12.39@109.57mph with a 1.69 60ft.

Now my current dilema is that my little 2lt motor has finally spun a big end. My plan is now to build up a 2.5lt.

I have now acquired from an 02 Impreza, a 2.5 NA block. This is getting closed decked and sleeved. Add to this some Wiseco pistons, Argo rods, ACL bearings, 14mm headstuds and an APS SR50 turbo, should be fun. I've also got some larger injectors sorted, along with either a Motex or Vipec ECU.

The car used to be a daily driver how ever when my V3 5 speed smashed 3rd gear, I bought a second car to get around in. So now, (or when its back on the road I should say) it is a weekend warrior/track whore.

Beautiful rides. I especially like the ruby mica (maroon) one! Hopefully one day mine will be up to spec like yours.

Those are fantastic looking cars! If I may ask, what type of hood was on the green car? Is that custom or was it made by a company?

I wish I had a set of morettes, no chance you still have 'em and want to get rid of them is there? :grin:

Cheers for the comments guys. Unfortunately, those Morettes were damaged in the accident, so they are no longer. Its too much of a pain in the arse trying to source some more, so I've gone back to the JDM projectors.

As for the bonnet, it was something I came up with. All done properly, I was amazed at just how much air actually flowed through the engine bay. I will be doing a similar thing with the new maroon one too once she's all sorted out with the motor.

They're not made/produced anymore, so the only ones out there are from wreckers or people selling them. It is still possible to get them, but they are becoming rare as hens teeth.

very sexy ride i also agree those lights are very nice touch do you know if they made those for a 94 or something similar to that design

I've only seen them made for the Gen 2 and Gen 4 models

Bit of a blast from the past. Much has happened since I posted last.

Car is back to running properly now. I had a drag motor built but lost interest in it. Sold the big heads and Autronic SM4 to a guy who built a WTAC GC8. I still have the block but waiting for the current motor to fail. I'll let the pics do the talking but.
