Does anyone know if this JDM STi wheel with fit onto a BG Legacy?

SRS plug will be questionable... but I am willing to bet that mechanically it will fit.

That's no better than the first one. You have to be able to see the shape of the plug and the number of pins etc.

use a torx t-30 bit and just loosen the bolts on the side, the airbag part just pulls right off.

the newer three-spoke airbags are a two stage system with two plugs...particularly true if youre trying to swap an 05+ legacy wheel into an earlier model. The only 3 spoke airbag that may not have this is the 04 sti...but I'm not 100% sure on this.

From what I've found, 04 And 05 have single stage airbags, bur the plugs are a bit different shape than ours (and different than wrxs too) there's actually a write up of swapping an 04 Sti steerig wheel onto an early wrx on Scoobymods. The guy had to splice airbag wires for it to be right. Search nasioc too, people have done it there and you can get the general ideA for your car.

If the resistance of the ignitor coil is even a little bit, it will set an SRS code. That's one of the things the SRS diagnostic module checks, to make sure there are no continity problems with either the wiring or the ignitor coil itself.
