Hey guys, I have a 1996 Legacy L and am interested in improving the car seeing as I will be having it throughout my next two high school years. At the end of that time I'm going to purchase a second car, but for now I want to make this one nice. It currently has 102,000 miles on it and ever mechanic we've taken to says that the engine and suspension are both in perfect condition. (sorry I have to keep regurgitating this part in ever post, I just want everyone to have a background on my car)
I want to know what kind of options I have to make the engine better for cheap. When I have all the parts I want in it, I'm going to paint the engine bay and engine so I need to make sure I have everything I'm gonna want in it. I'm talking about Cold Air Intake vs Short Ram Intake, possibly a turbo. Any help would be appreciated.
