seat question

so i found an 07 passenger side sti seat and i was wondering if i took the base off of the sti seat and the base off of my driver side seat in a 95 legacy could i put the legacy base on the sti seat and have it work or would it be too much hassle?

All Subaru's share the same bolt patter (93-07'). No need to swap unless you want the STi seat to sit lower. I am fairly certain that the STi seat rails do not come off (riveted / welded)

It will drop right in no need to swap bases. I have '07 WRX seats in my '97 Outback. Direct bolt in. Why are you only swapping passenger seats though...
EDIT: Are you wanting to use the passenger STI seat as your drivers seat? It wont work, the adjustment lever is on the wrong side and it is separate from the base.
