low fuel light

has anyone with a BD had a low fuel light in the dash?

both my BD's have never gotten it, either they were both busted when i got them or never had it....????

Yes. Mine has come on only once before. I think the reason we don't see them come on much is that when the needle is on E we go fill up. I realized on a road trip when I was pretty close to home and trying to stretch the tank that you can actually go another 50 or so miles after it's on or slightly below E before the gas light will even come on. After that you still have probably 20-30 miles.

I always use my trip and when I get to 300-325 miles I fill up. I think my trip was at 380 when the light came on.

I'm sure there is variation between different BD's though.
