What's goin on? Name is Karl B. from Machesney Park, IL. I started doing some research on this forum about my car, signed up, and here I am!

This is me sitting in someone's awesome Subaru 360 van at the Itasca World Record Parade
I've been into cars since I've been old enough to know what they were. For the longest time I have been into the FWD Chryslers... you know the older Shadows, K-cars, Lancers, LeBarons... Heck I've owned more than 80 older Chryslers by now. More recently I started learning more about Neons. Used to have a 07 Caliber SXT SPort that was a total pile of crap and a 04 Neon SRT4 that I had to sell when I was losing my job at the Chrysler plant as well. The post Daimler stuff really sucks... so I stick with the 1st gen Neons... but then they started making me angry as my daily driver Neon was giving me some sort of breakdown every week.
Enter my little brother... he told me how awesome SUbaru's were and how he wants one for his first car. I laughed... until he showed me some rally videos. After that, I was hooked on the brand and curious about them.
Since then I've had a 03 Forester 2.5x 5mt, 92 Legacy L FWD sedan 5mt, 86 Leone GL 4WD wagon 5mt, 93 Impreza L Sedan 4eat, and my 96 Subaru Outback wagon 5mt which is my favorite out of the Subaru's I've owned. All but the Impreza and the Outback have been sold (and I"m trying to sell the Impreza too) and I'd like to get another older wagon like my 86 but with air conditioning instead of no options whatsoever.
Anyway, that's me! Thanks for letting me be part of the board.
