side airbags for 98 BK

i don't know if it is possible, but could i take the seats out of a Subaru with the head/torso combo airbag and put it into my 98 outback wagon. after seeing a Honda accord blow through a red light at a considerable speed just to get to wallyworld i thought it might be a idea to tackle in the future. thanks in advance.

Nope. The SRS controller in a 98 doesn't have side impact sensors.

And you DO NOT want to try to hook up the side impact bags to go off when the front airbags blow.

If you want side impact protection via SRS, you will just have to buy a newer car.
