Hello kiddies. Other the list below, does anyone know of any Subaru only junkyards or any that have a good selection of BD/BG/BK Legacys?

Please don't PM....I'd like this to be a good database for all of us.

Thanks,
GGT

I've been told there's one here in Martinsburg, WV, but I haven't been through there to check it out. It's one heck of a drive for me and I live in friggin WV (it's up in the eastern panhandle...might as well be the DC area).

I dunno 'bout you kids, but I like calling places and making them check the inventory while I'm on the phone....more like a potential sale.

I plan on calling the Cali place tomorrow. I like that they are open on Saturday! :-D

Don't get me wrong...I love strolling through the yards...but if its a bit distant from my humble abode, I'm letting my fingers do the walking.

Keep 'em coming!

I've started a link update in my first post for all verified Subaru yards listed in this thread. Maybe if we get a substantial enough of a list, we'll get this stickied or FAQ'd!

There is another in CT but I can't remember the name, I'll post it later after I drive by it.
They seem like good guys too, the owner has/had 2 Brats, 1 of which was his daily driver.

Well, what I was taken aback by was their prices on rear diffs. WRX LSD 4EAT rear diff (4.111, not really requested cause it is a 4EAT) = $150. okay.

1999 Impreza 3.9 5MT open diff = $150.

:!: Wait just a minute!!! Seems a touch too generic for pricing and what you get.

So I got a 3.9 diff elsewhere for $95 shipped with 24k miles on it. Then I called SR and got the WRX diff for $180 shipped with under 30k on it.

Alright guys and gals...keep them coming!!!

There's Hughes Auto parts (or something like that) in Stanfordville, NY. Driving by it looks like he's got about 30 BG's, plus usually 6 legacies or so for sale at any one time.

What he said. I've called them once or twice, and they seem really helpful.

They stock more impreza/sti parts, better to give them a call about the part youre looking for. They're about 20 miles north of Detroit.

Having previously called them on a fair number of occasions looking for a price on parts they don't list on their parts page, I am inclined to agree. However, isn't this thread for junkyards with a good selection of Legacy parts (though I guess what with Subaru's being essentially Lego's, we might as well also throw up some links/contact info for other specialty shops for cars such as Impreza's and whatnot)?

Seriously though, if you're looking for a good price on STi parts (like say, seats for example), y2kimports.com (aka - Millennium Auto) should probably be the first place you look at. :smt023

Just to note, it seems that the Subaru, Suzuki, KIA place is off the net, and their eBay shop is no longer existent.

FYI that subaru suzuki kia has changed names to Specialized Parts Planet Subaru.

http://www.specializedpartsplanet.com/l ... .php?id=32 (http://www.specializedpartsplanet.com/location.php?id=32)

They are still at the same location:

Audi / BMW / Volkswagen / Subaru
3590 Sunrise Blvd. Suite 5
916-638-5773
800-638-5773

Manager Jim Bitcom.

Tony is the one to talk to... he is awesome. Also note their warranties on the parts... fantastic!!! I highly recommend these guys. I have bought numerous things from them... AC compressor, Rear sway bar, interior pieces, and electircal wiring/switches.

For those of you in the best state (Colorado):

Super Rupair - a huge place where you get get good used parts that have already been pulled, or pick-n-pull your own. Plus, the staff is super helpful, and will even help you pull off parts.
