When I step on the brakes like halfway through I hear a clicking noise, I am thinking that it might be my front passenger abs sensor? Everything was fine until 6 months ago my brakes started to make a squeeking noise, which was my brake pads I replaced that. Soon after my steering wheel started shaking when I stepped on the brakes so I got all my rotors resurfaced. While I was doing my rotors I happen to notice that on the front passenger abs sensor the tip was hanging, I touched it and it broke off. So I decided I would JB weld it on thinking it would be ok? I put everything back on and things were normal again until a few days past it started to make a clicking noise. I then put my car on jack stands and had it in first gear revving it to like 2000 rpm, all wheels were spinning except the front passenger. So I assume my brake caliper was shot and why it was causing it to make a clicking noise because the piston in the brake caliper wasnt coming back out all the way stopping it from freely spinning. I went and bought a new brake caliper and threw it on, all was normal again until a few minutes ago coming back from some errands it started clicking again. If I hit the brakes hard I wont hear it click but if I step on it like halfway I can hear it clicking. The only thing I can think of now is my abs sensor that might be causing it to make the clicking noise but then again I dont feel my brake pedal pumping and my abs light is not on. I was debating if I should buy an abs sensor but they want like $200 for it! When I unplug my abs sensor my abs light comes on and if I plug it back in my abs light goes off. Can it be my abs sensor or something else does anyone know what that clicking noise is? Can it possibly be my brake pads biting certain areas on the rotor causing the clicking noise? Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Is it aftermarket pads or OEM? sometimes the pads shift around the caliper brackets due to the pads being a smaller diameter. And did it came with shims?

Went to autozone and bought the pads, they were duralast.

hi there. I do apologize for the very late post here. The topic here caught my attention. Reviving this thread is awkward but I might use this one for my reference. As I read your post, symptoms and brake noise to my car is now happening and I'm afraid that I might not have a quick remedy for that. I'll go to the mechanic or auto repair shop early next week. Any ideas here of how much the repair costs? thanks
