master brake cylinder/ brake booster upgrades?

My brake pedal is extremely mushy...like i can push it all the way to the floor and still not lock up, ive replaced the front pads with hawk HPS pads and the rotors are brand new front and rear, which leads me to believe that either a brake line is failing or the MBC/brake booster is failing. Now...ive always been a follower of "why replace when you can upgrade" so im looking at SS lines, but are there any upgrade options for the MBC/brake booster? i want to get rid of mush completely.

Bleed your brakes. You could also replace the rubber lines with stainless steel. PM Reason for techna-fit lines.

If bleeding the brakes doesn't solve the problem then definitely consider replacing the master cylinder.

already bled them twice with no improvements, and there are no leaks anywhere


would a master cylinder and booster from a WRX fit? and would it firm the brake pedal up any, i have a lead on one for pretty cheap

Probably, but the issue is likely to be your stock brake lines. Over time, the rubber gets soft and expands a lot.

Don't bother replacing the brake booster, it will not cause a soft/low pedal.
